So we are past the middle of Summer 2018 Anime Season, and it’s time to talk a bit about what I’m thinking about it so far.
Boku No Hero Academia / My Hero Academia
This is kind of a favorite, and I’m really having fun with it’s summer episodes, although I can’t wait for the to… well… do the thing and get the stuff… and more to the next story arc.
I started watching the first season a bit before the second season started. So far, the third is better than most of the previous season, and I hope it keeps getting better.
A cool mix between sports and cute-girls-doing-cute-things, but more focused on the
bikinis sports. The art and animation are gorgeous, and I’m happy that I decided to continue watching instead of dropping at the iddle of episode 2.
I’ve read a couple chapters of the manga, and at least for that part, the anime seem to have adapted it very well. The humor, the characters reactions, it’s all so fun that it’s really refreshing to have something way less serious.
Not watching any bad anime. Why should I waste my time? To be fair, I put Chio-Chan no Tsuugakuro on hold, because it’s funny, but maybe not enough for me right now. I might go back to it someday. I dropped Jashin-chan Dropkick at the middle of the first episode, because I had high expectations for it, but didn’t laugh once during the first 10 minutes.
Some anime seems very interesting but I’m not watching because I don’t have much time, and I prefer to wait until the season ends and check the reviews and opinions or just binge watch it later. The shows I’m interested are: Banana Fish, Asobi Asobase, Hataraku Saibou, Hanebado, How Not To Summon a Demon Lord, Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san (Waiting for the uncensored version), Sirius the Jaeger, Happy Sugar Life and Island.
