I think The Promised Neverland (Yakusoku no Neverland) is one of the most awaited anime of this season, considering that the manga is a HUGE success. Today it finally premiered and I went in blind, without having read the manga or even reviews about it.
What I can say is that the anime ROCKS and I will definitely be watching it. I watched the first episode with my wife and I don’t know if it fits her tastes, but for me, it is a must watch as I’m hooked up already.
Unfortunately it is a bit hard to talk about it without spoiling anything, but what I can say is: it’s a horror-suspense-drama kinda anime.
The art style fits the mood and the story, and the OST really adds up to it. I think the three friends (the three main characters?) are cool, and everyone will have fun cheering for them along their journey.
Status: Watching it – Priority
